|Description:||Assists in the administrative planning, coordinating and monitoring of special projects and grant fiscal activities. Coordinates purchasing, reconciliation, and balancing financial spreadsheets for assigned grant and departmental accounts (internal controls in place.) Assists in the interpretation of policies, procedures, and regulations relating to the development of federal, state, private grant and contract proposals for departmental and institutional funding. Monitors grant ending dates and progress report due dates. Assist in the preparation of these reports as indicated. |
|Duties:||Maintains the production of necessary records and data for accurate and appropriate program/grant development and tracking. Processes travel arrangements/reimbursements for multiple programmatic areas and grant activity. Provides faculty and project support as assigned. Provides back-up to core administrative support to ensure coverage of essential functions within the department. Other duties as assigned.|
|Qualifications:||MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION – High school graduate or equivalent supplemented with courses in accounting, bookkeeping or equivalent experience. |
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Two (2) year of related experience.
