|Description:||Serves as the first point of contact for educational, healthcare, and other partners and clients contacting the Northeast Texas Consortium of Colleges and Universities' central office, located at UTHSCT. Acts as an assistant to the Executive Director and manages the financial and administrative documents for the group. |
|Duties:||Provide the administrative, clerical, communication, and website support associated with the offices of the NETnet Consortium, SUPERnet Consortium, and departmental grant-funded affiliations. |
Maintain budget records, produce requisitions, and reports and project anticipated expenditures on a regular basis.
Coordinate executive director and departmental schedules, travel arrangements and paperwork.
Transcribe and maintain minutes and serve as a liaison with the multi-college administrative boards and advisory committees of the consortium.
Communicate regularly with the offices of college and university presidents and other administrators and with college information technology groups.
Input regular updates for the www.netnet.org and related websites and monitors social media activities related to the partner consortia and projects.
Serves as backup for the video help desk.
|Qualifications:||Two year college degree or better preferred. |
Strong verbal and written skills.
Experience in worksite/office organization
Computer experience, including: word processing, spreadsheets, some page layout or website construction, management of web-based applications such as Skype, SurveyMonkey, Doodle, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Experience in an academic setting preferred. Healthcare related experience also helpful.
